In plain terms

The report sets out Space Solar's plan: a small in-orbit test, then 31 megawatts in 2030, 150 megawatts in 2033, and 650 megawatts in geostationary orbit in 2036.

The claim as recorded

RAF036/2425 sets out a Space Solar CASSIOPeiA roadmap of an in-orbit demonstration testing power beaming and structural truss assembly at kilowatt scale, then in 2030 a minimum viable product of 31 MW from HEO, in 2033 a 150 MW system from the same HEO orbit, and in 2036 a first GEO system of 650 MW.

Scope and limits

The report's own footnote 29 states, verbatim: "Estimated timescales only. Actual timescales are subject to availability of funding, regulatory requirements and technological developments". These are stated intentions in forward band B2, not contracted schedules. They may only be reported as declared targets, with the date they were declared. Six-month review because PROGRAMME claims age fast.
