Each point on these charts is one figure from a claim record, and each chart names its records. Records rated low confidence are drawn faded and dashed, and every chart has a table view.

• Cost, launch and date claims

  Cost of electricity (GBP per MWh at 2024 prices by default), launch cost per kg, beam power density at the rectenna, system size, frequency, lifecycle emissions and claimed dates, each figure plotted against the date of its evidence.

• Exposure limits, bioeffect studies and storm days

  Microwave exposure limits from 1957 to 2020, studies at or near 2.45 GHz by power density and exposure time against the 1978 design levels, and why storm days are 12 to 18 a year.
