SRC-273
Numerical simulations of a three-wave coupling occurring in the ionospheric plasma.
Published claims resting on this source
- CLM-0059 The two fields were largely the same people from the 1970s, and papers linking them were still appearing after 1991.
- CLM-0165 A search for other, independent scientific papers that might confirm or challenge the well-known formula used to set space solar power's self-focusing safety threshold found none that actually give a comparable formula to check it against - and the papers most likely to have one could not be accessed at all.
- CLM-0167 A 2002 computer simulation, done because of two Japanese space-solar-power rocket experiments, modelled a different kind of plasma instability from the "self-focusing" usually discussed, and found its growth rate scales with the beam's strength. To keep the computing time down it ran at a frequency ratio far from a real microwave beam's.
