OpenAlex null measurement: SBSP literature against grid-connection terminology
What this is
This is the project's own arithmetic, published in full so it can be checked rather than taken on trust. It is not a source. Every input it uses is cited to a record, and the conclusion it reaches only carries as far as those inputs do.
Not arithmetic. A measurement of the OpenAlex index on 2026-09-04 using the works endpoint and the title_and_abstract.search filter. Baseline term set ("solar power satellite" OR "space solar power" OR "space-based solar power") returns 2551 works. Each grid-connection term added with AND returns zero: "grid code", "fault ride", "reactive power", "harmonic distortion", "grid forming", "grid connection", "power quality", "transmission system operator". The single "system inertia" hit is an inertia TENSOR and all ten "short circuit" hits are solar-cell short-circuit current. Method and counts recorded so the measurement can be repeated.
Origin: produced by the VC08 grid-interface pass. Every figure above was recomputed independently before this record was written, not transcribed - 16 of 16 checks reproduced the pass's values.
