In plain terms
TerraSpark posted a lab video of power sent without wires across half a metre, with words of praise from a former British energy and defence minister. The post gives no numbers on how much power was sent or how efficiently.
The claim as recorded
In a LinkedIn post of about mid-September 2026, TerraSpark quotes the UK's former Secretary of State for Energy and Defence, whom it describes as a champion for space-based solar power, as praising the company's start in proving the concept in the lab and calling it the first critical step in transforming Europe's energy security. The same post, headed as wireless power transmission over 50 cm, shows a lab demonstration video but gives no power, frequency, efficiency or test conditions, and the equipment in the video still is blurred.
Evidence behind this: T6 social media post by the company, quoting a third party; the quotation is as the company presents it, not from the endorser's own channel.
Scope and limits
A FORMER MINISTER'S PRAISE AS QUOTED BY THE COMPANY, NOT A GOVERNMENT POSITION AND NOT CHECKED AT THE ENDORSER'S OWN CHANNEL; THE 50 CM RESULT IS UNQUANTIFIED. The endorser holds no ministerial office now on the post's own description, which calls the office a former one. Whether the post's 50 cm result is the 0.5 m result of CLM-1209 is likely but not confirmed: no URL is visible. The comments, the linked page and the video were not read.
What it assumes
That the 2w label as seen on 2026-10-02 places the post between 12 and 18 September 2026.
Where it comes from
Screenshot, read directly; body text held as the transcript capture named in the SRC row. Headline (paraphrase): wireless power transmission over 50 cm. The endorsement, attributed to the UK's former Secretary of State for Energy and Defence, described as a champion for space-based solar power (paraphrase), includes "proving the concept in the lab" and "first critical step", in a sentence about Europe's energy security. The post says a company engineer demonstrates wireless power transfer in the lab, with a video and a link in the comments (paraphrase). There is no figure for power, frequency or efficiency anywhere in the post text. The video still shows the bench equipment blurred.
