In plain terms

TerraSpark says it has sent power without wires across half a metre, is testing over a longer distance in the lab now, and plans a test in space in 2027 paid for privately. Only the company has said so.

The claim as recorded

The same TerraSpark post (2026-09-28) states that the company has "demonstrated wireless power transmission over 0.5 m" (the link's URL describes it as in the lab), that the first Earth Spark demonstration is taking place that month over a larger distance in the lab, that Earth Spark will then work in the field over shorter distances before scaling up to 100 m, and that a "privately funded" in-space demonstration is "already slated for 2027". This is the company's statement of one prior lab result and its plan; none of it has been independently confirmed.

Evidence behind this: T6, a company blog post about the company's own results and plans; it permits "X stated Y on date Z" only.

Scope and limits

Self-reported. The post gives no power, frequency or efficiency for the 0.5 m result; the linked earlier post and the linked mission-partner post were not read. "this month" is read as September 2026 from the post's publish date.
