Energy Aperture

Method

A worked example

A worked example, not a record

This page shows how a record is laid out, using invented content. It is not a finding and its identifier does not exist. It renders through exactly the same component as a real record, so what you see here is what a real one looks like.

In plain terms

An invented example figure, used here only to show how a record is laid out on this site.

The claim as recorded

An illustrative worked value of 000 units per square metre at the receiving aperture, modelled at a single site under clear-sky conditions, on the study’s own stated assumptions.

Evidence behind this: T4 (the commissioned study); T2/T5 (the two papers it rests on for the loss model)

Scope and limits

This example may not be used to support anything at all. It is invented content shown to demonstrate a page layout, and the identifier CLM-0000 does not exist in the register.

What it assumes

A single site, clear-sky conditions, the study’s own loss model P_{\mathrm{rx}} = P_{\mathrm{tx}} \, \eta_{\mathrm{atm}} \, \eta_{\mathrm{c}} with the two efficiencies as the study states them, and a basis year of 2021. Changing any one of these changes the number.
