What this is

This is the project's own arithmetic, published in full so it can be checked rather than taken on trust. It is not a source. Every input it uses is cited to a record, and the conclusion it reaches only carries as far as those inputs do.

G5/5 aggregation exponents: alpha = 1.0 below the 5th harmonic, 1.4 for orders 5 to 10, 2.0 above 10. Aggregate multiple of one unit's contribution is N^(1/alpha) for N = 479: alpha 1.0 -> 479^(1/1.0) = 479.0 alpha 1.4 -> 479^(1/1.4) = 82.1 alpha 2.0 -> 479^(1/2.0) = 21.9

Origin: produced by the VC08 grid-interface pass. Every figure above was recomputed independently before this record was written, not transcribed - 16 of 16 checks reproduced the pass's values.
