Low confidence

The evidence behind this statement is thin, indirect or second-hand. Read it as a lead to check, not as a settled finding.

In plain terms

The company says its beam will be on 99.9 per cent of the time, and that a 2 million dollar development agreement with a US government energy agency (ARPA-E) supports its work. It plans a public power-beaming demonstration in March 2027 and says it expects record efficiency. None of this is independently confirmed.

The claim as recorded

The same release states that Virtus Solis beams power by radio frequency with "a guaranteed 99.9% uptime", that a "$2M corporate development agreement with ARPA-E" supports its power electronics work, and that in March 2027 it will hold a public demonstration in which it "expects to yield record Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) efficiencies".

Evidence behind this: T6, self-reported technology, funding and schedule statements; "X stated Y on date Z" only.

Scope and limits

A "guarantee" of uptime for a system not yet built or flown. No frequency, power, distance or efficiency figure is given for the demonstration. The ARPA-E agreement is not confirmed from ARPA-E. For GEO, a 99.9 per cent figure would have to ride through the eclipse seasons (CLM-0895); the release does not say the orbit (our note).

What it assumes

No assumptions are recorded against this claim.

text, paragraph 5, paraphrased except where quoted: power is "transmitted continuously" by radio-frequency power beaming with a "guaranteed 99.9% uptime"; the work is supported by a "$2M corporate development agreement with ARPA-E"; and in March 2027 the company will give a public demonstration in which it "expects to yield record" "Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) efficiencies".
